KYC rules: who can verify, and when it is invalid

Only the real account owner, with their own documents, alone in a closed room. What makes a KYC invalid and when accounts are blocked.

Only the real account owner may complete KYC, with their own documents, alone in a closed room. If anyone else takes part in the verification, for any reason, it is not valid and we cannot work with you.

The rules for every KYC session:

  • The real owner only. The person who verifies must be the person who owns the FundedElite account and who will trade it.

  • Your own documents. Your ID or passport and your selfie, in your own name. Never a relative's, a friend's or a business partner's document.

  • An enclosed space, alone. Do the session in a room with the door closed. Nobody may be visible, audible, holding the phone, pointing the camera or telling you what to do.

  • Original, live capture. No photos of a screen, no printed or edited copies, no pre-recorded video.

If another person is found in your KYC session, for any reason (a family member, a friend, someone helping with the phone), the verification is not valid and you will not be able to trade with FundedElite.

Examples of an invalid KYC:

  • Someone else holds the phone or appears behind you while you take the selfie.

  • A voice in the room guides you through the steps.

  • The document belongs to someone other than the account holder, or does not match the name on the profile.

  • The same face, document or device is linked to another trader's profile.

Example: your brother holds the phone while you take your selfie. Even if he never trades, the session is invalid and the account cannot be verified.

What happens if there is a risk of account management, sharing or KYC fraud?

If the KYC or the account activity shows a risk of account management (someone else trading for you), account sharing or KYC fraud, the verification is rejected and the profile and all its accounts are blocked. Pending rewards are not paid, and fraud leads to a permanent ban.

I need help with the KYC. What should I do?

Contact support through the chat before you start the session. Do not ask anyone in the room to help you: we will guide you ourselves.
