What is the Live Trading Programme?

When a funded account moves to a live account, and how the live account works

Your funded account moves to the Live Trading Programme automatically at your 4th consecutive payout on the same account. Our risk team can also move it earlier, at our discretion, based on your performance.

Like every FundedElite account, a live account is a simulated account: you never trade or risk your own money. To manage our own risk, FundedElite may copy or hedge your trades on its own accounts. Your rewards are calculated on your simulated results.

When it happens

  • Automatically: on your 4th payout in a row on the same funded account.

  • At our discretion: earlier, if our risk team decides so after reviewing your trading performance, account history, consistency and risk profile.

  • We always tell you by email when your account moves to live.

How your live account is set up

  • Your pending payout is not paid out as a reward: it becomes the starting balance of your new live account.

  • Our team sets the max drawdown of the live account from your trading history. It is equal to one of these amounts from your funded account: your max loss limit, your daily loss limit, or your pending payout (your whole balance).

Example: you trade a 2-Step $100,000 funded account and request your 4th payout of $6,000. Your live account opens with a $6,000 balance. Based on your history, its max drawdown is set to $5,000 (your 5% daily loss limit) or $6,000 (your pending payout, the whole balance).

Rules on the live account

  • The only limits are the account's margin and drawdown. There are no profit targets, no minimum profitable days and no consistency rule.

  • Strategies that cannot be replicated in the real market are still not allowed: high-frequency trading, latency arbitrage, server spamming and exploiting errors or price feeds.

  • The account is personal and can only be traded by you.

Payouts

  • You can request a payout whenever you want, with no waiting period and no payout cycle.

  • There is no minimum amount: your request only needs to cover the fee of the payment method you choose (see "How will I be paid, and what are the fees?").
