On a funded account you may not risk more than 50% of your daily loss limit on the same instrument in one trading day, counting all trades on that instrument in both directions.
Daily loss limit | Max risk per instrument per day |
3% | 1.5% |
4% (LITE 2-Step) | 2% |
5% (2-Step) | 2.5% |
How risk is measured for each trade:
With a stop loss: the furthest stop loss you ever set on the trade (widening it raises your risk).
Without a stop loss: the worst price the trade reached while open (lowest for buys, highest for sells).
If both apply, the higher one counts. Risk is counted on the day the trade closes, even if it closed in profit.
Example: 2-Step $100,000 funded, limit $2,500 per instrument. You open EURUSD with $1,000 at risk and later another EURUSD trade with $1,500 at risk. You have reached $2,500, so any further EURUSD risk that day breaks the rule, even if both trades close in profit.
Breaking this rule can lead to closure of the funded account and loss of its profit. You can reset the funded account from your dashboard (see "How do I reset a funded account?").
